Teams will collaborate on a creative design and construction of a device capable of protecting falling eggs from breaking. The teams will be given tasks, construction limitations, customer requirements, and a price list of available raw materials to use in their construction. They will need to balance their budget with customer demands, define team roles, and develop a creative presentation regarding their device. The device will be built with materials provided from established inventory. The project’s success or failure depends on a number of factors including total budget, creativity, adherence to customer requirements and a successful drop from a pre-determined height. The tension builds as each team steps up to present and demonstrates their creation. The hope is that they are not left with egg on their face.
Debrief for a powerful learning experience
Experiential learning activities are based on the principles of
experiential education, and serve as the basis for engaging team building programs that deliver high impact team and leadership skills development. Debriefing occurs after the activity and is an important process designed to synergize, strengthen, and transfer learning from the experience to real-life, on-the-job situations. Our professional facilitators can tailor, modify and debrief each activity to meet the specific needs of your team.
